DRB - Copy The Design Review Board (DRB) is comprised of six members appointed by city council and is responsible for reviewing architecture and site design before making recommendations to Mayor and City Council on all Development of Community Impact (DCI) applications. Statements of interest to fill vacant or expired positions are accepted annually. Meetings for the DRB are only held when there is a DCI application and typically held on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM in Chamblee City Hall (3518 Broad Street), except in special circumstances.
DCAC - Copy The Discover Chamblee Advisory Committee (DCAC) provides oversight of the budget and assist in the direction of projects being overseen by Discover DeKalb, DeKalb County’s Convention and Visitors Bureau. Consisting of two members of city council, two members of city staff, two members of Discover DeKalb, two Chamblee hoteliers, and two residents, the DCAC accepts statements of interests to fill vacant or expired positions annually. Meetings are typically held every other fourth Wednesday of the month at 12:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Chamblee City Hall (3518 Broad Street).
DDA The Chamblee Downtown Development Authority (CDDA) was established by special state legislation. It is an independent authority established for the purpose of planning, organizing, and financing projects that will revitalize and redevelop Chamblee’s downtown. Members of the CDDA are either a resident, business owner, or property owner in the downtown area and are required to complete eight hours of training on downtown development and redevelopment programs within the first 12 months of their appointment. Statements of interest to fill vacant or expired positions are accepted annually. The CDDA meets once a month and meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday at 6:30 PM in Chamblee City Hall (3518 Broad Street).
PAC

The Public Art Commission (PAC) acts as an advisory to city staff and the city council in matters pertaining to art. Eight members advise and make recommendations regarding the execution of the Arts Master Plan,  public art policies and procedures, artist selection juries and process, commission and placement of public art, and the maintenance and removal of artwork. Statements of interest to fill vacant or expired positions are accepted annually. The PAC typically meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers located at Chamblee City Hall (3518 Broad Street).
